For 17 years we ran The Manor Inn at Lower Ashton during which we won the Camra Exeter and East Devon Pub of the Year in 1993, followed swiftly by Camra South West Pub of the Year 1994, then again in 1998 we won the Camra Exeter and East Devon Pub of the Year.
We deliver weekly to Devon, Somerset and Dorset and by arrangement can deliver further afield via wholesalers

In 2004 we decided to have a change and came away from the licensed trade but our interest in beer didn’t diminish and we have decided to put our experience of what consists of a good pint into making rather than serving it. As fate would have it Scattor Rock at Christow was looking for fresh ownership so in September 2009 Gidleys Brewery was born.
Gidleys is a 4 barrel plant which has the capacity to brew four times per week and this means we can produce over 4500 pints of delightful Devon Ales each week. We can supply 18 gallon or 9 gallon casks for your pub or party and also we can do the non returnable 20 litre or 10 litre ‘beer in a box’ for home consumption!
